I find this image strong and striking until I see the slightly green tinted leaves. To me that makes it a bit hokey. Either all b&w or more vibrant and in your face and I wouldn't feel that way. Still it's a small nit.

Fair comment - the colour has been added to a black and white film image and so making it vibrant could/would have been very fake looking.

Perhaps all black and white is better. For others, perhaps not?
