I'm a bit stumpted when it comes to that as well. One time I'll post an image I'm quite proud of and have checked over for technical errors, composition, etc., and it will totally bomb. Then I post one without half thinking about it and it gets the highest ratings yet! I think by now, everyone's a bit tired of seeing so many trees the ratings (and for sure the comments) are suffering!

Just some thoughts...
