that's a pretty nuts looking image. i'd give it all fives if it weren't photoshopped quite so much. looks like a halloween photo (which is a good thing!)

The lighting in this image seems a bit otherworldly or unreal with the light gray branches set against so dark a sky. Nevertheless, I like it and scored it high. Perhaps the near-monochromatic tones are what appeal to me.

This image has a really creepy quality to it, which I like. The grays are really cool. Something about the framing doesn't allow the image to pop, but I really like the feel of the image.

FYI: I did not have to do any processing to the trees for them to look so ghostly. The sun was setting directly behind me and a crazy storm was coming from the other direction. It created an incredibly unique lighting experience. In post-processing I overlayed the browns in the sky and ground and liked the overall effect.
