I really like this image. My attention is drawn to the window more than the tree, but I think the tree branches are integral to the composition. Great image.

teddyber, I can see the upper part of the tree trunk splitting into two halves. I think that qualifies as a tree. Also, I don't think the photo needs contain the subject entirely to make it relevant to the theme. Sometimes, partial representations go a long way into making stronger impressions upon the mind... :)

Overall, this is an atypical pleasant shot to me.

Thanks for the comments, this tree and its branches made me a strong impression, however framing was particulary difficult and I had no choice but to include the window into the frame. The resulting shot looks like somewhat... un-finalized, but I thought that impact was still good ; I'll try to show a better one next time :)
