Not sure if this is the case but it *looks* like the sky was darkened in PS.

Cool tree, nice idea, but the processing is a bit much for my taste (if I am seeing this correctly on my monitor).

Don't like the halo from (I assume) PP burning. Otherwise very high impact image.

The light coming from behind the tree really casts a wonderful shadow in the foreground. I think the compsition is great.

However, it really looks as though the sky was darkened in post-processing and it creates this odd glow around the tree and land. It seems unnatural, which contrasts for me with the very natural and dramatic shadows in the foreground.
