Of course, I'd never get rid of Opus. Jack you know I take him everywhere.

I am a bit disconcerted by this image. First I see Opus (the penguin), then I see a fellow who at first glance appears to be dressed a bit like Opus (the towel or sweater), and then I notice how he has this large blue pad (bandage?) around his midsection. Then I see what might be medical tubes/cables from the abdominal region.

So, I am very interested in hearing more about this image. Again, I am filled with very mixed feelings about the image... not really sure how to frame my head around it.

@Lange, this is not a medical procedure at all, and that is not bandages on Jack it is mud. He does have electrodes attached to his stomach. He was receiving some kind of "new spa treatment" and it was too good of an opportunity to for Opus and I to pass up when we realized that the too of them match.

Opus, always travels and rides in the car with me when I'm shooting.

Lange, I guess the short answer to your question is no humans or penguins were harmed in making of this image.

FYI, I was not harmed in the making of this photo. The little electrode things stimulated my abdominal muscles and I supposedly got skinnier. I'm not sure if that was the case, but it was a pretty fun experience and something different to try while on a cruise. Opus was a great companion for the treatment.

What is going on here? This is kind of a weird shot... Are you having surgery? It's kind of fun, thanks to your (husband's) smile, but it's still kind of weird.

C-section? Is your stuffie going to have a little brother or sister penguin?
