Was the bloody splatter and puddle necessary? It really boosts the impact of this, but really makes me not like it too.

I'm not going to stay on my soap box for too long (or at least I'll try not to). I understand you're wanting to be artistic, or whatever....but....things like this (to me) is why kids are so violent today. They think it's all fun and games and have no idea how serious a "shot to the head" really is. Very disturbing!!! As a mother, I'm very dissapointed in this picture and struggle hard to rate it without emotion (5 in impact).

Look left then right before crossing the road. Ouch! Excellent use of a childs toy to introduce the macabre. All the more impact due to that I'd say. A unique take on the theme well rewarded.
