Also if it's not, then well anyone can take three items and place them and shoot a photo vs a white background ,needs something special to it, a unique interpretation to the theme.

Yes it is a photograph, it's a display in the stocking section of a department store. I saw it and took a photograph of it. As it's a photograph, although manipulated in Photoshop, I believe it's a valid entry to a photoblog.
