Nothing about this picture says three to me, I see more than three of everything in the frame.

I really think this image is absolutely striking and beautiful in so many, many ways! The contrast is wonderful, the hues of the desaturated image are just right! The only difficulty I have had is in relevance.... I am afraid I am not seeing the "three" aspect of this image. Nothing seems to jump out at me and say THREE! I may be missing it. Initially I thought it would be the poles or the horizontal pieces of lumber on the deck rails... but there really are four poles in view and seems to be four horizontal planks as well.

Again, beautiful!!!!!

i personally like that this image is subtle in the relevance department. glaringly obvious doesnt usually work for me. but i think this image is a bit over sharpened. but a nice image nonetheless, nice mood to it.

reading the other responses... isnt the "3" in the 3 knotholes in the wood? its subtle, which i like.

i've come back to this a few times.... the 'three' isn't jumping out at me at all. I'm sitting here thinking, "maybe its.....or maybe its...."
