Relevance and impact are pretty evident. I would like to see these three with a more integrated composition (perhaps overlapping or winding around each other in some fashion). That might lessen the notion of three items, but would make the shot more interesting. Image quality is very good. Overall, I like this minimalist approach.

Because the wire is creating its own shape as a result of your composition, the line-up of three works. Minimalist but with the added advantage that 3 is spelt out twice!

Thanks for the comments. I agree with you Jeff, I think I'd like it better with the wires getting closer to each other at the base. I think it would still look clearly like "3" coils, and would probably be a stronger composition overall.

My limitation in this case is that there was only this one patch of blue sky behind these when I was capturing the image. All of the other angles included clouds of some kind, and my shots with clouds in the background did not have the same impact IMHO.

The two coils on the right actually do manage to "touch" in the full original capture, but the two on the left don't. I thought they either need to all overlap, or all not overlap.

So this was the result ;) Just wanted to share my thought process on this one.
