Strong relevance and impact. Great color. Good abstract lines.

I am always a big fan of bright colors and repetition in photographs. This has both, and is highly relevant to this theme as well.

My one nitpick is I'd like to see alittlemore gray space around the edges of the entire frame, which I think would tie this whole composition together even better. If youwere able to get to thesame thickness that is between the windows that would be ideal.

But I don't know what the full scene looked like in the field and there may have been a specific purpose you cropped in closer.

In any case...nice!

Perfect symmetry and powerful color.

The strong classical treatment of this allows you to get away with the straight-on composition.

gorin-images said 660 days ago:

What's wrong with straight-on composition? ;)

Thanks Jeff, codedlanguage.

@Jarrett : When i took the shot, it seemed perfect. However during the post processing stage i realized that it was leaning towards the right. Correcting the same made it a tighter crop.

@Zavaell : Most of my images are straight-on composition, correct me if i am wrong.

Geometric beauty! I love this image! The colors and the contrast are terrific. If there were to be one suggestion for improvement, and it is relatively minor, I would have suggested a SLIGHTLY less restrictive crop... to allow more of the framing of the top and the sides and bottom to show as well to give additional texture.

Ashish said 659 days ago:

Totally agree about the tight cropping, ur feedback much appreciated!

What's wrong with straight-on composition? Nothing per se, but it can lack creative tension. To be honest, standing dead in front of something and photographing it is not necessarily the ultimate in creativity. This theme of three has led to a number of 'straight-on' shots, which I don't find that stimulating. Your shot here is rescued as I said above.

@Zavaell : Appreciate your response.

I see what you are saying zavaell. On the other hand, one could also argue that it's more challenging to come up with an interesting composition that is also straight-on, 2d, etc. You have to depend on composition, tone, and color alone to make the image work in those cases. I think 2D/straight-on etc. is just another tool in the photographer's creative arsenal, and it is a good oneto use. I like to use it alot ;)

I also agree with you that Ashish's image here is a very good use ofthis style.
