Feels staged, I assume it is... Clever idea, fairly well executed, but not great for me.

is this a shot of a tv show?

In this day and age, are you serious? This happened to me 3 times today, and I wasnt even driving.. Great shot, I especially like the TV effect (but that could just be my monitor)

Hi Ana, no it's not from a tv show. I staged this with some friends in the parking lot of the company where i'm working. I wanted to give it an old movie look, so that's why i added the horizontal tv lines and the scratches.

Great idea !

I haven't been following this theme too closely (very busy) and haven't contributed anything. I'm here just to help folks get needed ratings at the last minute.

I don't get this, seeing that it appears to be a shot of a t.v. screen. But it's a good shot of a T.V. screen and the moment would probably be very unexpected for the person on the wrong side of the gun.

King, the fact that you think that this is really a shot from a movie on a tv is a big compliment, considering i shot this myself after work :)

King said 252 days ago:

kvdv...well, although I wasn't being very critical, I know a lot about lighting for film and television. If this were taken from a commercial production, I would say that it is underlit (most commercial productions are *over* lit IMHO).

On the other hand, I'm a very early riser. Sometimes when waking early I'll try to find a foreign film on tv with english sub-titles that I can watch with the sound turned down, so as not to disturb my wife. Foreign film makers have less of a tendency to overlight, so this fit for me.

interesting!..

well in this case, i guess it was one of those old Hong Kong movies starring a Caucasian actor :)
