@Dave Mac: this actually is a raft for the Valborg parade in Uppsala, Sweden (2006 version). The principle is to build stupid rafts, then get on it and try to have it destroyed by the rapids before reaching the final line. Of course, the fact that everyone is wasted before 10 o'clock helps a lot to appreciate the show.

Ahhh my current affairs knowledge has let me down.. I just never thought that waste of carbon would end up on display here.. There again flip did produce Bono a few weeks back, so why not
