At first glance, it doesn't seem relevant. But after looking more closely, I can see where you're going. Very cute expression and great DOF. I guess the chances of a bird flying into a child's arms is very unexpected...that is of course unless the child's clothes were made of bread.

Looks like a great moment, just wish I could see the bird better. The kid's expression is great.

A longer dof would have produced a more pleasing background for this shot, without being dsitracting. For 'the rules' compliance he should also be facing into the frame..

From the background I'm guessing this is at a major tourst attraction famous for its pigeon population - somewhere like Trafalgar Square, maybe - so I don't get the relevance of this at all.

I really fail to see the relevance, sorry. Also, the image seems a bit oversharpened, though it's difficult to say at this resolution.
