the leaves at the lower right feel a bit "hot" though, for me they could be toned down a bit

An interesting photo and theme interpretation. A few different "ends" here to ponder. End of a season, end of a life, etc. It has staying power.

I love this. I was out of town for much of the rating period, but I would have rated this very high. I love the light hearted take on the theme and appreciate that your images usually make me smile--on the inside at least.
