This one annoys me because it makes me feel I should recognize this place as the venue of some important and dramatic event from the past, but - sorry - I don't know where/what this place is :(

Also, the short pillar just above the lion's head gets a bit too much limelight, thus pulls my eye a bit too much so that it's a bit short of sharpness gets a bit too much advertizement :(

I'm sorry to have annoyed you although I can't see why you should have been. Had the actual building been significant, I would have shown all of it. The focus of the photo is the plaque on this non-descript building in Paris - life insurance indeed (and I don't speak French either :-)

no, I'm not annoyed at all, I should have chosen my words more carefully. Sorry.

I did not care to read the sign as it was in French and I don't speak it. Then I realized i understood it still.

Sorry for jumping into conclusions prematurely.

Nevertheless I gave it high marks as there was something about the picture i liked. and, assuming the building had something about Ends, I gave it the benefit of doubt and gave it a high relevance mark.
