The end does not always come with dignity... Great moment caught! And that well explains the snapshot quality.

I see what you were going for but the image just doesn't grab me. The centered composition, the amount of space and blur around, it don't do much to enhance the skeleton or it's implied end. I think the image could have been done with more intimacy.

Ick - what did this used to be? Although I really don't like looking at dead animals this is a well done image, that is relevant to the theme.
