First I like the idea and the general scene. The broken over grave stone is a nice but subtle "end". I like the sepia tones but the contrast overall is a bit flat and this type of image could have a bit of grittiness to it for impact so more contrast would have helped IMO but it is a small nit. The thing that really stops me when looking at this image is the sky. Because it is the brightest part of the scene it competes with the rest of the image and then since you can't help but notice it the change in color tonality there just feels extremely awkward to look at. It would have worked much better toned the way the rest of the image is and I think this image would have much higher appeal like that.

The end on many different levels. Very effective image. I have just one beef, and that is the window on the left is a bit distracting. The image is more powerful, imo, with that side cropped.
