A very striking shot. I can't understand why it isn't featured! It seems, from the initilly low numbers of featured shots, that people are being pretty strict in terms of relevance.

I really like this image. The colors are great. Yellowstone? I'm not sure on relevance. I fear I'm missing the point.

rising water tables bringing increased salt levels to the surface spells 'the end' for these poor trees....not sure if that what it is but thats what it depicts for me.

Yep, it is the Opalescent Pool at Yellowstone NP. We stayed there last october for a week.
