Folks: Do you see a moire pattern in this image on your monitor? I see it at some magnifications on one monitor...not on another. I'm still learning about digital noise and I'd appreciate any comments or enlightenment on this. Original was shot on color negative ISO 200 film and scanned by my lab.

I don't see any moire patterns on this particular monitor.

Thanks, George. I haven't figured out why one of my Sony Trinitron monitors displays a moire pattern and the adjacent monitor does not. Any hunches?
Do you see much other digital noise?

King, I'm not sure why it differs, but are the monitors identical? The reason I ask is tecently I noticed an image of mine that on one monitor (a 19-inch CRT set at 1024x768 pixels) can produce a moire pattern, but on another monitor (a 17-inch laptop screen set at 1440x900 pixels) does not. Evidently the degree of moire is a function of the display device to some degree.
Skies, as you probably know, are "perfect" areas for noise. If I lean right up to my monitor I can see noise in the sky, though very little. To my eye noise is not something this image suffers from. (But, boy, there's a helluva lot of *other* stuff it suffers from! I'm kidding!! And you know I am.)

By the way, are you familiar with the new spelling of the word "recently?" In the most learned circles people are spelling is "tecently." And, no, that's not because the "t" and the "r" happen to be located immediately adjacent to one another on my keyboard.

How disappointing to have 9 ratings and no comments. I believe the relevance on these types of images (featuring religious symbolism) will be dependent on a persons religious beliefs. Since there's a large representation of ethnic groups here, not all will get the relevance.
The image shows quite a bit of digital noise, but otherwise it is a fine image with nice tones.
