I don't know if this speaks for an end. The leafs are too green. OK there are some brown ones but the majority is green.
Also I think the effect doesn't fit really well to this pic.

How about the end of the working day, the end of a relationship, the end of a dream. Use your imagination, for goodness sake. I'm sick to death of people picking HOLES in everything on this site. The first thing people do is look for something wrong, or something negative, something not quite right. Thanks for your comments, and you are entitled to your opinion, but IF YOU REALLY CAN'T SAY ANYTHING GOOD AT ALL, why bother?

I like this, but while I'm looking at it, I keep noticing the forced defocused edges. If they weren't so obvious, it would be more satisfying for me.

the idea is there but a bit too much of blur (to my taste)...what I like most here is the definition of the leaf on the second ground, wezll done !

((sometimes it's hard to put half a spoon of poetry or humour or "out of the norm" around here..))
..but we are not here only to win (even if it's better:) at least we can publish and get (only!!) constructive "critiques" (sorry only know the word in french!) from an "aleatoire" jury (partial or impartial..)
Does it make sense, uh ?!

I see where you are all coming from, but the soft focus around the perimeter creates the tunnel effect that I was looking for. Some other kind of action in Photoshop may have helped, but here I think I get there easier without loads and loads of post processing. Thanks JIMJIM, I speak french by the way so feel free to comment in french from now on.
