Yes it is the end. The end of the easiness, quietness, you have to choose an option and it will be necessary to assume it !

To me it's not the end but the beginning of the road untraveled. This image is great and says to me "the journey is the destination". May not say the end to me but it doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the image.

Beautiful shot. I love the processing, particularly on the sky, and the composition is spot on. It's funny with relevance because this feels very relevant to me, yet when I look longer, 'the end' is not what I feel, it's more like 'a choice for which way to continue..." Never mind, I love it.

I think I feel the same as some of you have already expressed. This image to me is about two simultaneous sentiments; the end of the road (or a part of it), or as jfka mentioned "the end of easiness, quietness" and being in the position of having to make a decision and begin a new direction. So, its a bit of an mixed theme I guess. Thanks again.
