Sorry but I really don't get this one...

A bit cluttered to my eye. I guess the suggestion of "the end" is the leaves turning color and falling, but there's the lamp and the building and the branches that all compete for my attention. The leaves are also are fairly dark, and, because your eye gets drawn first to the brightest part of an image (in this case the sky, building, lamp), the leaves end up with last billing. Just one person's opinion :-)
