it is ground zero about 3 months later, and the devestation still apparent with burnt and blown out structures of the buildings in the surronding area.

I don't get it - unless the image is making a political statement. In which case, I might get it, but probably not. The flag seems to be what I focus on, so I can't help but think that's what the significance of the image is.

Whilst I get the concept of this image (and like it), I think there will be a lot of people who are not aware of this particular building and what is still being found there. For those who recognise it the relevance will be high but for those who don't I think they might miss the point.
