I have to make some assumptions about what you were going for. I get it - the King is down, it's Check Mate and subsequently Game Over. However, the dying King is so out of focus (because he is in motion) that it is not imediately apparent - especially for someone who doesn't play chess. Good effort though.

Yes, I was really counting on those who can play the game. I figured it would be the majority. Looking at my relevance score I guess I was wrong, though :)

(By the way, I liked the idea of a virtually invisible king to emphasize its valueless state at this stage of the game - I tried to counter this by throwing extra light on it but it's not really evident as the king was moving. Maybe I should've used stronger light for the king...)
