Totally a decisive moment. I had to laugh, though, because I thought about the chess game first and then the cigarette in his hand...both of which are decisive things that are going on.

I like this take on the theme and the long ash add a nice intensity to the players focus.

Great image and seems to fit the theme perfectly.

Clearly this guy is in the process of making a decision. But I don't think that's what they mean by "decisive moment".

On the other hand, before I read through the entire theme description, that is what I thought they werelooking for too, and I wondered "how do you get a photo that shows someone making a decision?". There's no question you've done that here.
