Wow, it must be tough taking photos from that far up in the air! Great capture. I think the fact he is out of focus actually adds to the shot. It feels like it was taken 20 years ago or something too. I really like it.

A long moment! It's a great shot - maybe his hand on the shoot release would have made it a little more decisive ... but hey! you are obviously not in a position to take a while over the composition!!!

I realize this shot is extremely hard to take : and it's captured extremely well here : although the only tiny problem I have is sharpeness. But I think this deserves to be featured.

... and then he pulled his rip-cord, ... right? ... Nice shot! :)

Well, it's a little blurry for my liking, but given that it was taken 1000's of ft. in the air, I'll cut some slack! I like the daredevil look on his face. And yes, that's definitely decisive!

Wow! That IS quite a moment. I love the expression on the sky diver's face, and the way he's not centered in the photograph, but off to the side. Nice one!

I think that this was several seconds after the decisive moment!

Thanks for all the comments. I've enjoyed reading them.

For those cutting me some slack on the focus - thank you! As you might imagine this was a difficult environment to shoot in. For clarification I would like to mention that I was not in free fall with the jumper when this image was taken. Instead this image was captured immediately after the jumper left the plane. Those of you stating this is after the the decisive moment, your point is well taken, but I respectfully disagree; half a second earlier you wouldn't have had the facial expression, half a second later no worthwhile image at all, in my opinion.
