I like Mr.Peanut : not the rest of the shot.

that's constructive.

oh my gosh, is that bunny going to attack the peanut?!?!

I did not rate this because I just don't get it. Maybe with some explanation this could make sense for the theme but I can't see it.

The coincidental juxtaposition of foreground and background elements makes it look (to me, and to like-minded people I have shown this to), like the surly bunny is about to mug the happy and unsuspecting mister peanut.

And before someone else says so, yes I see that a tighter crop would emphasize that.

Cute Image! Not sure about relevance, as I am still grappling with what is meant by decisive moment.

Since Cartier-Bresson's name was invoked, it means something along the lines of the moment when the elements of the picture come together to best tell the story. This may not be the best example because the bunny probably isn't really about to roll the peanut.

It looks like the bunny is getting into a little confrontation -- darn paparazzi! Will Mr. Peanut realize in time to help him out?

Unfortunately, I feel like this is the opposite of a decisive moment. It feels more like a missed moment to me. The peanut guy is just heading out of the frame and everyone else seems to be caught in mid-action but not in a particularly interesting way. It looks a bit like a snapshot that wasn't intentional, or a moment that was missed.
I also find the image to be a little blurry.
What I do like about the image is the framing and the way the street creates a nice diagonal through the photo.

What is it with this website and Mr Peanut?
This photo does nothing except prove the long held theory that men dressed up in peanut suits do not make for good subjects
