The "grain" is really well applied in this shot. Scored high with me on "image quality" and "technique"

Hmm...sarcasm maybe? The "grain" is inherent in faster speed films which is what I used. Adjusting the contrast and tonal curves makes the grain more apparent. No grain was applied.

I've come back to this photo a number of times... The more I look at it the more I like it. At first I was unsure about the head being cut off, but I think it helps to bring the focus to the eggs... The missing head also helps to add to the feeling of commotion and movement.
Makes me wonder if those eggs will get cracked soon. Nicely done.

I love this image. The grain and dark tones aren't typical of an 'easter' shot but lends a wonderful quality to the this egg hunt in what seems to be a forest. It made my day.

Thanks guys. Cutting the head off was intentional, trying to make it anonymous which intrigued me and add to the immediacy of the moment.

I think this one would be great to re-submit for the current theme. The granularity adds a great deal to the image. well done.

A little bit too much grain added and not at all decisive.
