A very interesting assortment of textures here. I wish it were a bit lighter to pick up those details. Perhaps a tighter crop on some of the more interesting ones...but overall, very nice.

well this is kind of interesting, it looks like some of the leaves are in the process of falling to the ground but I am not sure, the shadow says yes the DOF says not so much. As for the relevance, I think a tighter crop would have really helped bring out the texture.

I was surprised at how low this scored because I thought it was a wonderful shot...and I worked very hard on it. It doesn't look at all dark to me, and the detail/texture is incredible when I look at it here....anyway....
It's about a 10 step process, but basically I used a drop shadow effect. I wanted then to look like they were floating, and by golly, I thought I did a good job!!

I thought that this was a photoshop magic job but didn't think that you were much into doing that. I don't think that it is too dark at all, if the background was lighter the leaves wouldn't have shown up as well as they do. :-)
