Ooh, these deep fried chips give me a stomach ache! ;) For me on an image like this it has to be super crisp, no pun intended. The texture of the chips needs to be in your face sharp. The number and arrangement of the chips is texture in and of itself, but for me not enough.

this makes me smile. I love the lighting, but I'd have not shown the side of the bowl in the top corner. High marks from me!

I like the concept a lot but I'm wondering why the image seems to have some blown out highlights to the left and some shadows to the right.
