Not much here.

This is nice, couple of things I would suggest:
Loose the yellow corner
Maybe straighten the framing just a little to show more of the lichen near the left edge of frame.

Nice texture but the image is a little soft throughout and the little yellow area in the lower right is a bit distracting.

this would be a great abstract image with a little cropping...and clarity. good texture.

Lots of people have done wood so far but I really like this one in particular...can't really explain why...it's just a nice capture.

Overall, very beautiful. Unfortunately, at least in my monitor, the image does not look as sharp as I think it could have. Truly artistic though.

This is a really tough subject. I too was drawn to the textured bark of a great old tree and that's what made it so tough. In 'real life' it appeared so textured, so perfect for this theme. But as I examined it through my lens, I could not seem to get the right angle and lighting to really make the image come alive in a way that compared to real life viewing. And that I'm afraid is what I view as the downfall of this image. Certainly there is an abundance of texture 'here' yet it doesn't pop or come alive.

Also, I'm curious as to your choice of including the lower right green portion in this image. I find it adds no value to the image and taking it out would not have done anything negative to your composition.
