Nice idea, but the lighting is not quite right, the reflection is too harsh on the right side. Moving the camera/subject/light a few degrees could improve it dramatically.

You know of course that the whole point of the Alvar Aalto vase is that glass should be treated as a soft substance and formed in a such a way that it makes you forget that the vase is actually made of a hard substance.
