great B&W. my only comment would be that it is hard to decide where to focus on this.

that white blob in the sky is my only nit-pick here. I'd have cropped this shot right below that spot. It would make it so much softer.

because it is not a 'blob' in the sky, it is yhe sky !
Black part is trees, the beginning of a forest...

yes, yes, I realize this...I'm just saying that stark whiteness up there takes away from the softness going on below. when I move the shot up the page so that isn't showing, it's so wonderful!

I understand and..I agree...
but, from my point of view, this curve white sky is a direction. A direction threw this white soft balls.. that's why I do not want to focus on a specific one... Beeing in, in the middle, like under a sea...

and yeah, i do agree with ana, the bright "blob" of sky does take a way a bit. it could have been cropped down further without losing feeling to the image. but its a great shot nonetheless.

Excellent subject and relevance. I feel that the treatment brings a little harshness that tends to take away from the subject a bit.
