This looks like a chamber of commerce shot for the San Juan Islands. The sky is what makes this shot. It adds a lot of depth and distance.

A very pleasant shot. The colors are lovely. It's quite on the money in many ways...and the human element adds that extra dynamic. I feel the composition is a bit static - i.e. the boat in the middle of the frame - but overall a nice shot.

Apart from being a good composition, the lines of the clouds are very strong.

Thanks for all of yours comments. The composition was pretty much constrained by the environment, a much bigger boat on the left and an old pier on the right.
