I can't put my finger on it but this doesn't do it for me - perhaps it needs a little more to be happening in the shot. But it is excellently timed.

I really like this, great shape and detail in the birds silouette. The composition works for me and I like the vignetting at the edges.

I do like they way the feathers of the bird ar pictured against the sky, but whatever that thing upper left is, I find it distracting.

Great shot! I love how simple it is. At first I wasn't fond of the wire, because I thought of it as a distraction, but it in fact seems necessary, to balance the shot and give it interest, and also to give us a starting point for the bird. All in all, a terrific shot. High marks across the board!
