the background bothers me - all it tells me is how the subject is lit. this could be much more impactful shot tight.

it is the detail of the grommets and cloth edging on the light box that makes the photo for me.

We were filming a TV commercial. He is standing in front of some panelling which I believe difussed the lighting across the set.
