This is a strong image. Quite severe. I get more of a "silenced" feeling rather than a "silence" one, and while I suppose it's intentional, I find the blown out forehead and crop-to-the-right a bit over the top. I am finding, however, as I write this and keep scrolling back up to review the image, that the more I stare at it the more it's growing on me. Yes, I quite like it, but I think the crop is still throwing me off balance.

i know it is over the top for most & certainly not a perfect photo - but it is what i wanted to submit.

I like the starkness to this..it adds to the repressed feel of this shot...like you have been kidnapped and gagged and put under a bright light...and your captors will rip the tape and make you "talk".
