I am a bit confused on this one. I'm not sure how the cloudy sky and the empty telephone wires relate to silence. Is it that there are no birds there, so it's quiet? For me there is not enough visual interest in this shot irregardless of the theme.

It was the similarity to an empty musice score sheet that I had in mind when I submitted it.

Not sure if it is a .jpg issue, but the image seems a little noisy to me (no pun intended). I don't usually mind grain, but in this case it doesn't add anything to the atmosphere, it just seems like a technical issue.

To me, the shot lacks a little something. I wish there was a bird sitting on a wire, or something flying far above. Without anything it seems almost to abstract. I don't get that sense that my next step will make too much noise and interrupt the scene.

Nice texture in the clouds. I could see the power or telephone lines making a variety of statements, but none of them are "silence." Perhaps your goal is a statement regarding the lack of silence in the modern world?

Phototext, ok I see now what you were trying to achieve. It just wasn't apparent to me, but the fact that you knew what you intended is good enough for me. I just didn't get it, but sometimes you have to hit me over the head. Take care.
