I like this image very much, except for the lights (passing cars? house?) at the lower left. They significantly detract from the feeling of silence for me, and from the mood of the image outside of the context of this theme. Without the lights I would have rated this with an "Excellent" Relevance, but as could only give it "Above Average."

I love this shot, just like the last time I saw it. I intepret the lights on the left to be an approaching car, so I'm not sure if this is entirely about Silence - but wow, I love this shot. I'd be interested in hearing what you did here technically. How much of this did you do in camera, and what did you bring up or get rid of later with editing software.

Oh, it's you! Great shot. By the way, I voted it high in relevance because even if it is an approaching car, it is about to "break the silence" so I considered it relevant.

Mitchh, the lights were passing cars, but far enough from me that they were just light beams.
Flatline, 95% of what you see is cause by extremely heavy fog. What I added was some channel mixing to shift it to more blue than it was. Also a bit of level and brightness/contrast adjustment to make it a little more snappy.
