Thanks becn32, it was just a bit of cheekiness I found in the grounds of the Radcliffe Camera here in Oxford. Behind me was another snowman, high up on a college wall with an Oxford University gown and hat. No sign though :(

The sign is so bright that it almost looks fake, but I know it's real. The snowflakes are beautiful and perfect. Oh, the sign is indeed quite funny. My only major comment is that the composition in my opinion owuld be better if the sign and snowman weren't evenly divided in the frame. Otherwise a great shot!!!

mpctallkey: Compo wise this shot has annoyed me. I wanted to get the snow covered ground in but the backdrop had those sort of workmens fences which would have detracted from it. I wasn't too pleased about the juxtaposition of the sign twixt snowman either. Shame because it was just that little bit short of being a cracking shot. Still, 3.42 rating overall, not bad but not featured.

As for the rest of the comments, yes, I agree, this shot makes you smile. We could do with that as sometimes this forum can get rather serious and heated. I should know, sometimes the comments can be really irksome!
