Great image. The colours work brilliantly and the black cat is superb.

This is a very odd and intense image. The colors alone make it pop, but what really strikes me, besides the insane angularity of the black cat's head, is that because of the lack of contrast or sharpening I'm guessing?, the pic seems a bit "3-D but flattened". Does that make sense?

Heck, I'm guessing here. I'm still practicing my critiquing skills. But I'm trying to participate more, so hopefully others will pipe in and offer you more from their vast expertise.

@peejataylor: Actually there is no photoshop work here, besides boosting the saturation a little. The 3D effect you mentioned is just the result of the shallow dof as the focus was on the cat and the sign is much before her. Thanks for your feedback!!
