Fun shot! An immediate eye catcher! The obvious question is, why curved signs? Another question: did you take any in portrait orientation, and if so how do they compare?

I have no idea how these signs came to be, but I've heard that they've been replaced. I suspect that it was intentional, but I haven't seen any others like it in the neighborhood.

As to George's question, no, I didn't take any in portrait orientation. I just liked the way the sign filled up the frame, almost like a 5-pointed star or a human shape. I really should start trying different orientations and compositions when I shoot. Sometimes I see something that would make a very striking photograph, but can't quite capture it correctly.

A question: why the low points on quality? Just curious if anyone has some feedback there.
