for me the sign could have been bigger, but I do like it against the sky.

It's a beautiful sky, with a sign in it. Well exposed, and fine quality of image, but it lacks impact and meaning.

What are the rest of the words on the bottom of the post?

It's just a sign, but it's the negative space, the fact you can't see the lake itself, the simplicity, that appeals to me here. I like.

I always like these type of shots. The large amount of sky draws the eye directly to the sign and makes a very clear point.
