It's relevant, but that's about all for me. It might have been more interesting if shot from right beneath the sign, with the sign and the clouds occupying the entire frame IMHO.

wow - thanks for all the comments! i take the point about the lack of road, i think in hindsight its inclusion would have been good :)

in answer to how far west monkton is - this was taken in the village of west monkton, so the center (pub, phone box, letter box and post office) is not far in that direction ;)
