Thanks for the comments folks. A couple of notes in reference to them.

bioLarzen - This is actually a new neon sign. It's an exact replica of an old one though. The old one got destroyed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004. I took this right after they turned it on again back in August. What you really don't get with a long exposure like this one is how much the different lights are flashing. The Pensacola Beach part dances all over the place. The yellow part animates outward, and the arrow animates to the right to reinforce the direction. The fish and the white part just sit there and look retro.

rocksunderwater - I like the, often forgotten by photographers, middle third here for these reasons. On the left is an ugly highway. On the right an ugly overpass.

uncommondepth - I think we really do have a claim to the "World's Whitest Beaches" here. Come on down and check them out for yourself. We'd love to have you. Incidentally it got up in the 70's (Fahrenheit) here today.
