What I was going to say was, the 100% in the bottom right obviously goes with the NATURAL since the word INGREDIENTS is partially visible, but I have to say it's a bit distracting at this size and on a screen. I imagine if I saw a larger printed version of this it would not have a distracting quality. So, could you just pop, say, a 12x18 in the mail to me? Yeah. Great. Thanks. ;-)

I tried and tried to find a way of cropping out the bit that pokes in at the bottom right, but short of using some serious Image Doctor-ing in Photoshop (which I didn't want to do) it has to stay.

Philippe, You can leave a comment without rating, but you can't read any of the other comments without also rating. As for having seen it already, I did too. But I can see why you might have wanted to remain neutral given the exchange on your penguin shot...which, by the way I like a lot.

George: I confused you - the shot is of two adverts, on one of those revolving billboards - it's taken halfway through one of the revolves, hence you can see bits of both. Your prize if you can guess them...? A sense of satisfaction? ;)

Owen, no pettiness was intended on my part, and I don't think Philippe meant any either. I think he was just trying to be transparent. What is it you're reacting to?

Owen, the NATURAL either refers to somethine edible, and I'm going to guess a cereal. One problem with that guess is the font choice for the word NATURAL. It looks more like a font that would be used, say, on a hair product. So I retract the edible guess, and I'm going with a hair product. As for the red eye...hang on a sec!...I just noticed that other red eye! Which doesn't seem to belong to the same face as the more prominent eye. Okay, I'm going to take a few seconds to think about this one...

George: I was reacting to Philippe posting to say he knew who had posted this image... Seemed to be a pointless post. Probably reading too much into it, all I did was say I didn't like a couple of elements in the penguin image. I think I came to this site expecting different types of shots, having spent a fair while participating in FujiMugs which is a similar type of site.

Anyway - you're close and yet so far...

Well I'm drawing a complete blank here. I'm kicking around ideas like:

- shaving cream or razor blade
- video game
- something to get the red out of your eyes after a heavy night of boozing
- a nose hair remover

I think Philippe was just trying to be transparent yet also wanted to post an image of his own but couldn't until he had no more red "Rate Me." So in the end he didn't want to be unfair to you, which I think is fair treatment and I can only imagine you would agree.

George: no dice! You didn't get it! The food product is something called Mullerlight Corners - yoghurt with a corner 'sachet' of 'natural ingredients' to tip in and mix up. And the movie... well you'll have to work it out yourself.

What's with everyone here playing down the fact that they don't like something? You don't see the appeal, that's just fine! Why keep apologising for your own opinions?

You've been a member longer than I have, but I guess you simply haven't been participating, including reading comments. Of course, one misses a lot of conversations if one doesn't rate and comment on photos posted by others.

In regard to my "But what do I know?" I started that catch phrase some time ago when photos that didn't particularly grab me were subsequently featured. You'll see others use it as well.

It's a compliment of sorts, but you wouldn't know that. I'm assuming that this image will be featured along with your other two and that you will make a clean sweep of the Signs theme.

I'm not the apologetic type, but I don't want to appear to be judgmental, either, when I'm not intending to be so.
