A darker background would have given you more impact

it's a great shot, but it's not shouting anything to me... and I'm not sure what that white streak at the top is?
Ana said 626 days ago:
ohhhhhhhh. okay, call me dumb. but now that I read the other comment, I see it. Gosh, I sure wish the line was clearer and more obvious. I thought this was floating money and that was some sort of wing in the air.... very hard to see. durn, cause it IS very relevant.

Sinful indeed...good shot
George said 626 days ago:
Greed. Money on it's own to me doesn't suggest greed. It's how money is used...or the significance people place on money. I like the shot on its own but don't find it strongly relevant vis a vis the theme. That puff of smoke makes me think the bills are rockets being launched.

Having read the other comments I suppose I was off on my "greed" conclusion. However, I'm not sure which of these illicit drug obviously use falls into:
Lust - Gluttony - Greed - Sloth - Wrath - Envy - Pride

Aww, that's so sweet that nobody immediately gets what this is, cause that means you're not all experienced in the world of drugs. Though I'm also sad, because that must age me. It represents cocaine, and how it used to be snorted with a rolled up dollar bill. I suppose they don't snort coke anymore, using crack and whatever else instead. ?? I'm not an expert on the subject!
Anyhow, the use of drugs and alcohol is part of Gluttony, along with over consumption of food, if you read up on what the sins actually are. I'm okay with a low relevance score here, especially since technique and quality are finally higher.
Thanks guys!

Having just educated myself on the finer points of the "7 Deadly Sins" over at wikipedia, I now know that "Gluttony" includes substance abuse. I associate that with excessive consumption of food, and so the drug connection was never there in my mind. Now I know.
Ana said 626 days ago:
The thing is...if I would have known it was a line of coke, I would have given it a 5 for relevance. but the photo was unclear to me. Mostly because of the double bill. It looked like two, instead of one on a mirror. And the line was confusing. Sorry.

Hey, no problem. Composition or depth probably should have been different. But I didn't want to risk people knowing I didn't use real drugs! ;-)
Montage said 626 days ago:
Drug use is a new deadly sin? I can see where the use of the money might signify greed, but for me this one's more about the drugs.
Montage said 626 days ago:
Which now that I've read the other comments, comes under the sin of Gluttony. If I could add more relevance points now, I would.

I like the monochrome tone, but I'm still trying to find out the meaning...
philippe said 625 days ago:
Okayyy... Now I see the light! Same remark as Ana: I was confused by the two bills floating in the air and the coke was looking like smoke... Good idea, nicely done! On second thought, I'm not sure I would relate drugs to gluttony, but if Wikipedia says so...

Which sin? Gluttony?
EssPea said 621 days ago:
would have liked to see a slight bit more in focus. Great job on all other aspects though!

I can only assume that the white line in the back is some illict drug, not sure what this has to do with the seven deadly sins, but i get the impression it is a sin.
