Like the detail and the grain on this - reminds me a little of a placebo cover!

This is a very powerful shot... the sort of shot that draws you in--I kind of wish it was a series, if that makes sense.

This is definitely not your average self portrait. I really like what you're focusing on here... the neck, the shoulder... it even looks like we can see a vein in there. This is great.

I do think the grain feels a little unnatural, though. This feels like a somewhat "smooth" or "soft" image (if that makes sense) and the grain doesn't seem to fit for me. Other than that this really is an image that I keep coming back to examine. Nice.

Time and again I have read how much men love to see a woman's collarbone. I think this image speak to that. There is a reason for that desire.

while i have a sense of fragility and vulnerability and a willingness to be exposed, the composition and the graphic quality of this image has to much reference to the classical genre of "body" photography to work as a self portrait for me.

An honest image

I wish I could of seen more of the face but otherwise it's a great shot. Maybe the missing face adds to the mystery. I'm so conflicted.

The lines in the collar bone and neck work well. It's amazing that you can see veins.
