Wow. The lighting is like the flashlight-in-the-face technique for a scary campfire story... I like the angle, but personally would have cropped the top down so as not to show the bright blown out spot on the wall (I can do it myself just by scrolling down, lol). I think it would look fantastic cropped like that as it's already a really cool image.

Nice - very dark and moody

menacing! great use of light to add drama.

I'm sure you know (and have been told by others here) that technically this isn't the cleanest lighting job ever :-) But somehow it works. One eye light and one dark, the shadow between chin and mouth, and the locks of hair all sort of work. I really like the deep artificial saturation as well.

Think about cropping the width of the hot spot across the top.
